The Hotel Hospitality + Design Expo will return 14-16 May, 2012

HHD will return to the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on 14-16 May 2012. For further information and updates on how to exhibit or visit the exhibition, contact us.

  

HHD is open to industry personnel involved with the hotel, hospitality and design industries.

Entry to the exhibition is free. Online registration will be available via this website from February 2012.

How do I register to attend the Show?

Trade entry is free and you can pre-register online by clicking here. Once pre-registered, your badge will be waiting for collection when you arrive, at the express entry desk. The badge gives you free entry for every day of the show.

Can I register at the Show and if so, where?

HHD is a trade only event. Admission is restricted to professional persons working in the hotel, hospitality or design industries. Persons not in these categories (including children under 16 years) will not be admitted at any time. Identification may be required at the door. Visitor registration counters are at the entrance to the exhibition. You can register on the day but we suggest that you do pre-register to ensure a smooth and quick entry to the expo.

What if I forget my confirmation email?

All pre-registered visitors will be able to obtain their badge on site without their confirmation email, however it does take more time to process. Therefore we do ask that you bring a copy of the confirmation email to provide the quickest way to obtain your badge.

Can students come to the exhibition?

Students are required to pre-register for HHD 2012. Only students studying a hospitality, hotel management or design related course qualify for entry to HHD. Pre-registration is free. You will be required to verify your student status. All pre- registrations and on-site registrations must be accompanied by one kind of Student ID and/or a letter from your lecturer confirming that you are studying hospitality, hotel management or design related course. Students are asked to attend the expo on Wednesday 16th March.

May I bring guests to the show?

Please do not bring family or friends who are not design professionals to the show. Genuine trade visitors only will be admitted to the exhibition.

How much does it cost?

There is no entry fee to attend the exhibition, however all visitors to the exhibition must be involved with the hotel, hospitality and design industries.

Are children permitted in the exhibition halls?

Please note that for safety reasons, children under the age of 16 will not be admitted into the HHD exhibition. Nursing infants in front packs and backpacks are the only exception, prams and strollers will not be allowed inside the exhibition halls. This applies to the children of both visitors and exhibitors. Under no circumstances are any children permitted into the exhibition halls during Move In and Move Out of the show. If you choose to ignore this advice, you will not be permitted entry to the show.

Show Dates and Hours for 2012 are:
Monday 14 May 10am – 7pm
Tuesday 15 May 9:30am – 6pm
Wednesday 16 May 9:30am – 5pm

How do I get to the venue?

The Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre is only a short walk from the city centre, and can also be reached by taxi, train or bus. Parking is available on site and in nearby car parks. The venue is around 30 minutes drive from Sydney Airport. For more details please visit www.scec.com.au.
